Whitters is back!
...and singing
Whitney Houston has put down the pipe (allegedly) ditched Bobby (for now) and has recorded a brand new album, due out later this year.
This morning her first single "I Didn't Know My Own Strength" has leaked and ... it's average. Wisely, she isn't rocking the boat when it comes to her sound, and just as wisely the lyrics hint at her past troubles without being at all specific.
Of course this is all down to Clive Davis, her long-time executive producer and record company big wig, who is keen to return Whitters to her former glory.
Consider this track a way of easing us in ... hopefully to more interesting fare.
