We at The ‘Brain love the brilliant show Psych. If you’ve missed the few episodes Ten actually played (go get the DVDs already), it’s about a super observant guy, Shawn (played by James Roday), who pretends to be a psychic and helps police solve crimes.
Sounds a little like super ratings hit The Mentalist, starring Australia’s Own™ Simon Baker, no?
Yes, well the hilarious people at the much under-appreciated Psych (which started in 2006 – more than two years before The Mentalist) noticed that too and decided to have a bit of fun with it in the show’s new season.
