Following in the footsteps of other important doctors in history, such as Dr. Fraiser Crane (Kelsey Grammer) and Dr Love (Gene Simmons), another medico is getting in on the soda game. Instead of, you know, releasing the ridiculously-delayed album Detox, Dr Dre has decided to turn his considerable talents to starring in a Dr Pepper ad.

Check out the cute ad now... watch Dre gulp down some fizzy Dr Pepper... and then pick up the DJ's headphones (that just happen to be Beats, Dre's own brand of headphones!)... and then hear the limited number of beats Dre has allowed to be released from his upcoming album especially for this commercial. Lament. Can't ads ever be for just one thing anymore? Observe...
